Lina’s journey in beauty began in Germany, where her professional training ignited a lifelong devotion to the art of cosmetics. Guided by an innate curiosity and a discerning eye for detail, she immersed herself in the world of professional makeup, collaborating with international beauty brands that shaped her mastery of formulation and artistry. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Los Angeles - THE destination for glamour, trends, and cinematic allure where she continues to merge European sophistication with Hollywood’s transformative spirit.
She ultimately turned her vision into reality, relocating to Los Angeles - A haven for Makeup Artists and creative dreamers alike.
Amid the city’s endless opportunities and electric energy, Lina discovered that true artistry begins beneath the surface. The challenge lay in finding products that performed flawlessly under makeup while nurturing and protecting the skin’s delicate barrier - a balance few achieve, but one she was determined to master.
For more than 13 years, Lina immersed herself in the beauty world, testing countless formulas across every price point - from accessible essentials to prestige cosmetics. Each product carried its own promise, its own philosophy, and for a long time, nothing seemed a miss… until her skin began to tell a different story.
After a decade of almost daily use, her complexion grew increasingly reactive - redness, irritation, and sensitivity became constant companions. The experience was a powerful reminder: The ingredients we apply every day matter, and our skin, precious and singular, has limits.
Over the years using synthetic formulations aggravated her skin, she sought a purer path - clean, natural ingredients that nurture a healthy, creating a resilient skin barrier, delivering both immediate repair and long‑term strength.
She gathered clients’ experiences and concerns about cosmetic products, with the mission to create products that are helpful for so many in their daily lives. Her LĪNA Universal Balm is not just perfectly multi purpose for all skin types and balances stressed skin but also works well under makeup.
