Lina has been working with professional cosmetic products since graduating from school in her home country, Germany. Her lifelong fascination and curiosity for cosmetics has driven her to work for various international beauty companies and advanced her desire to move to one of the biggest beauty hubs in the USA - Los Angeles, the center of makeup trends and Hollywood's mysterious opportunities.
She finally made her dreams come true and moved to LA - a Makeup artist's paradise filled with chances and like-minded dream chasers. Finding products that work well underneath makeup and balancing the skin's barrier at the same time was the tricky part.
Lina had the pleasure by working for over 13 years in the beauty industry testing a wide range of cosmetic formulas, spanning various price segments, from affordable to high-end products, which contain all kind of ingredients, which was nothing wrong with until...
...After a decade of using these products, Lina’s skin began to suffer from redness, irritation and sensitivity. This experience not only highlights the importance of understanding the ingredients we are using daily on our precious skin but also recognizing that we have only one skin which, over time, can reach its limits.
Additionally, working daily in the beauty industry, wearing makeup is the norm, and a well-balanced skin of a beautician is expected as part of the professional appearance.
Over the years synthetic formulations aggravated her skin, she sought a purer path—clean, natural ingredients that nurture a healthy, resilient skin barrier, delivering both immediate repair and long‑term strength
She gathered clients’ experiences and concerns about cosmetic products, with the mission to create a product that is helpful for so many in their daily life's. Her beauty balm is not just perfectly universal for all skin types and balances stressed skin but also works well under makeup.
